Preparing & Positioning Yourself
- Do the sales productivity series first – get caught up, stay caught up. Taking on projects without current work under control is a recipe for disaster!
- Consider two dimensions: Does it line up with your broader goals? Does it line up with your company’s goals?
- The guys talk about how to earn “merit badges” and how they can round out your experience
- Be prepared to work very hard – don’t drop off on your day job
- Overdeliver, and have a plan for integration
- Typically regional managers (M2’s) need to scale – they’ll be looking for more sharing between managers of best practices.
